We are thrilled to announce that four of our team members—Grace, Becky, Abi, and Laura—have successfully passed their British Horse Society (BHS) Stage 2 Coaching Assessment!
This milestone represents nine months of dedication, training, and hard work, supported in part by the BHS Career Transition Fund. The result? Bourne Vale Stables now has four newly qualified instructors, ready to inspire and guide the next generation of riders.
What is the BHS Stage 2 Coaching Qualification?
The BHS Stage 2 Coaching qualification prepares coaches to deliver structured and engaging lessons across flatwork, jumping up to 75 cm, lunging, and lead-rein instruction. It also builds essential skills in planning, delivering, and evaluating coaching sessions, ensuring riders of all levels benefit from professional guidance.
This qualification is a key step for instructors looking to develop their careers in equestrian coaching and reflects the high standards we maintain at Bourne Vale Stables.
Investing in Excellence
We’re immensely proud of Grace, Becky, Abi, and Laura for their commitment to both their personal development and the future of equestrian coaching. Their achievement not only enhances their own careers but also strengthens our team, allowing us to provide even more high-quality coaching to our riders.
This success is a testament to the opportunities created by initiatives like the BHS Career Transition Fund, which makes training more accessible for aspiring equestrian professionals.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this exciting milestone, we look forward to seeing our new instructors thrive in their roles and inspire riders of all ages and abilities. At Bourne Vale Stables, we are committed to nurturing talent and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, all while sharing our love for horses with the community.
Congratulations once again to Grace, Becky, Abi, and Laura—you’ve secured your place in the next generation of exceptional equestrian instructors!
